Q: Why should I choose to live off-campus?  Isn’t all the action on campus?

A: University Gardens is ideally located within minutes by car to all the excitement Columbus has to offer.  The Ohio State University campus is just 3 miles away, approximately 7 minutes by car.  The nationally recognized dining and shopping of Polaris Fashion Place is just 9 miles away, approximately 12 minutes by car.  Also, Central Ohio’s premier entertainment area, The Arena District, is only 6 miles from University Gardens or approximately 8 minutes by car.  Parking is never an issue at UG like it is on campus. Plenty of off-street parking is available. When you want to relax or study, come home to the quiet surroundings of University Gardens.

Q:  How about public transportation?  Are there any buses nearby?

A:  Yes, in fact there is a Central Ohio Transportation Association (COTA) bus stop within walking distance from your front door.  It is approximately 22 minutes by bus to campus.  Students with a valid OSU ID ride the bus for free anywhere COTA goes.  For more information on COTA click here.
